  • The adesso iOS application

This policy does not apply to third-party services that you may access through Apple or your device settings.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

adesso is designed to respect your privacy.

We do not:

  • Sell personal data

  • Use advertising trackers

  • Use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs

  • Collect personally identifiable information for marketing purposes

3. Information You Provide in the App

You may choose to enter information such as:

  • Tasks and to-do items

  • Calendar events

  • Notes and brain dumps

  • Routines, habits, and goals

  • Reflections or gratitude entries

This information is created by you and remains under your control.

4. Device and Apple Service Access

adesso may request permission to access certain Apple services in order to function properly. All access is optional and controlled by you through your device settings.

Calendar and Reminders

If you grant permission, adesso can read and write calendar events and reminders using Apple’s APIs. This data is used only to display and manage your schedule within the app.

Health and Wellness Data

If enabled, adesso may read wellness-related data from Apple Health to support optional wellness tracking features. adesso does not store or share Health data outside of Apple’s protected systems.

iCloud and CloudKit

If iCloud is enabled on your device, your app data may be stored and synced using Apple’s CloudKit service. Data synced via iCloud is encrypted and managed by Apple.

adesso does not operate its own external servers for personal data storage.

5. How Your Data Is Used

Information accessed or entered in adesso is used only to:

  • Display your schedule, tasks, and notes

  • Support planning, routines, and wellness features

  • Sync your data across your Apple devices if enabled

Your data is not used for advertising, profiling, or marketing.

6. Data Storage and Security

adesso relies on Apple’s secure platforms, including:

  • On-device storage

  • iCloud and CloudKit, if enabled

Apple manages encryption, authentication, and security for these services. adesso does not have access to your Apple ID or credentials.

7. Third-Party Services

adesso does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising networks, or data brokers.

Apple services are governed by Apple’s own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

8. Your Choices and Controls

You are always in control of your data.

You can:

  • Enable or disable permissions through iOS Settings

  • Delete data directly within the app

  • Disable iCloud syncing through your Apple ID settings

  • Remove the app to delete local data from your device

9. Children’s Privacy

adesso is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.

Continued use of adesso after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
